Dr. Russell Y. Hosaka, OD

Has been in private practice in Torrance since 1981.

Dr. Hosaka has been the Chief of Optometry at Harbor-UCLA Eye Clinic since 1997. He has also served as Expert Examiner for the State Board of California. He became the 29th Optometrist in California to independently treat glaucoma in 2005. Dr. Hosaka has served as a consultant for Physiological Optics Corporation and REI.

He also serves as Clinical director of Total Vision Care.Dr. Hosaka graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1980. He is licensed in California, Illinois and Arizona.

Dr. Hosaka lives in Redondo Beach with his wife and 3 children. Pets include 2 orange tabby cats and salt water fish.

Pastimes include: Working out at the "y", basketball and bike riding. His interests include: reading, Impressionist art, Lakers, Clippers, AVP volleyball and exploring new restaurants.

Rosie Morales

Rosie is our Optician, in addition to pre-testing and dispensing glasses to our patients. She is also our frame stylist. If there is a particular eyewear line you would like for us to carry please contact Rosie.
Education: El Camino College 2001-2002 American Career College -Anaheim, Optical Technician.

Moises Parra

Moises has 3 years experience as a Dispensing Optician.

He received his ABO Certificaion on August 7, 2010. He is bi-lingual and his experience in the Optical fieldis a welcome addition to our eye care team.

Moises enjoys spending time with his young family and his two year old son. Moises enjoys sports and is a fan of both the Dodgers and the Lakers.

Eddie: Head Optician / Manager

Eddie is a State Board Certified LIcensed Optician

Lic.# 31TD00365400 with 11 years of experience managing an optical office in his home town of Hoboken, New Jersey.

Since relocating here in August 2011, he has shared his knowledge in the field to help elevate our optical lab and dispensary in order to provide the latest in lens technology and fashion eyewear. Most importantly, Eddie has brought his passion for customer service to improve the patient experince from start to finish.

Eddie's interests include travel and the New York Yankees just to name a few.
